Effects of Different Application Dosages of Organic Fertilizers on Yield and Quality of Fresh Corn
Huamei Sweet 168(sweet corn)and Jinsui 2008(waxy corn)were taken as the research objects,and experiments on the effects of different application dosages of organic fertilizers on nutrients and yield of different varieties of fresh corn were carried out.Four fertilizer treatments were set up,including no fertilizer(CK),100%compound fertilizer(CF),50%organic fertilizer + 50%compound fertilizer(MF),and 100%organic fertilizer(OF).The results show that organic fertilizer + compound fertilizer,as well as compound fertilizer can significantly improve the dry matter quality,ear height,ear length,and harvest index of the single plant of both two varieties during the harvest period and significantly increase the yield.In the two varieties,the taste quality,grain moisture,and soluble sugars of the corn can be improved by organic fertilizer + compound fertilizer,as well as organic fertilizer.In addition,the residue ratio of the corn can be reduced.According to the yield,taste quality,and nutrients of the corn,the application of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer based on 1∶1 is a suitable scheme for corn planting.
