Research on Plant Resources and Industry Status of Epimedium in Qiandongnan Prefecture
Through literature review,wild resources investigation,planting base survey,market research,and internal industry arrangement,the plant resources distribution and industrial development status of Epimedium in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture were investigated.The findings are as follows.(1)The wild resources of Epimedium are abundant and widely distributed in Qiandongnan Prefecture,with the species of Epimedium pseudowushanense B.L.Guo and Epimedium myrianthum Stearn as the main species.However,the phenomenon of excessive exploitation and excavation is serious,and the wild resources are depleting gradually.(2)The planting scale of Epimedium in Qiandongnan Prefecture is about 2 268 hm2,covering 12 counties(cities).It has a good industrial foundation and has begun to take shape,but there are some problems,such as uneven seed quality,chaotic planting varieties,non-standard production technology,and insufficient deep processing capacity.Based on the above situation,it is suggested to strengthen supervision,stop excessive exploitation and excavation,and take wild care measures to protect the local wild resources.At the same time,it is necessary to further strengthen the construction of industrial standardization and branding and promote the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
