The Study on Spatial-Temporal Differences and Influencing Factors of Rural Economy in Xiangxi Prefecture Under the Background of Rural Revitalization
Taking rural economy of 8 counties and cities in Xiangxi Prefecture of Hunan Province from 2013 to 2020 as the research object,the study analyzes spatial-temporal differences by the standard deviation,discrete coefficient,single index and TOPSIS method,and analyzes influencing factors by the stepwise regression model and geographically weighted regression model.The results show that,in terms of spatial-temporal differences,absolute differences of rural economy in 8 counties and cities in Xiangxi Prefecture from 2013 to 2020 show an increasing trend,while relative differences in the development speed show a decreasing trend.The rural economic development of all counties and cities in Xiangxi Prefecture is relatively stable on the whole,both of the numbers of developed and underdeveloped areas in rural economy increase,and the level of rural economic development in southwest Xiangxi Prefecture is obviously higher than that in other regions.In terms of influencing factors,the gross regional product,tourism income,and agricultural,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery specialty and auxiliary activity output value are positively correlated with the level of rural economic development,while the total number of rural labor resources is negatively correlated with the level of rural economic development.Hence,the study puts forward some suggestions to narrow the rural economic differences among different regions and help realize comprehensive rural revitalization:reasonably coordinating regional rural economic development,and making overall planning;adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure,tapping characteristic tourism resources,developing advantageous agricultural and related industries,and strengthening the construction of rural talent team.
