Inhibitory Activity and Field Control Effect of Litsea cubeba Oil on Pseudomonas syringae pv.actinidiae
The indoor plate inhibition test confirmed the inhibitory effect of Litsea cubeba oil on Pseudomonas syringae pv.actinidiae.The pathogen causing kiwifruit canker in western Hunan was isolated and identified as P.syringae pv.actinidiae based on the molecular evidence. The composition of the emulsifier combination was optimized as SK-33SC∶YUS-D935=1∶1(mass ratio),and L.cubeba oil 25%EW was prepared. The median effective concentration(EC50)of L.cubeba oil 25%EW against P.syringae pv.actinidiae was determined as 8.581 mg/L by turbidimetry, with the regression equation of y=-2.21+2.38x(r=0.965).The field experiment results showed that the control effect of the 200×diluent of L.cubeba oil 25%EW on kiwifruit canker reached 82.69%in autumn and 78.92%in spring, which were 60.91%and 38.30%higher than those of 400×diluent of 2%kasugamycin aqueous solution in autumn and in spring, respectively.
