Isolation and Identification of Bacteria from Rhizosphere Soil of the Kiwifruit Variety'Hongyang'
This study aims to reveal the differences of rhizosphere soil microorganisms between the healthy and diseased plants of the kiwifruit variety'Hongyang'.Rhizosphere soil samples of the healthy and diseased plants were collected from the kiwifruit planting area of Baojing County,Xiangxi Prefecture, and bacteria were isolated by the pure culture method. The isolates were identified by morphological observation of colonies and phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences.A total of 30 bacterial strains were isolated from two kinds of soil samples, and they were identified as Streptomyces,Rhodococcus,Bacillus,Kitasatospora, and Arthrobacter.Bacillus and Streptomyces were the dominant bacteria in the rhizosphere soil of healthy kiwifruit plants.Bacillus was dominant and Kitasatospora was not discovered in the rhizosphere soil of diseased kiwifruit plants. The results demonstrated differences of bacteria genera in the rhizosphere soil between healthy and diseased plants of the kiwifruit variety'Hongyang',which indicated that there might be antagonistic strains of Streptomyces against kiwifruit canker.
