Correlations Between Fruit Traits and Oil Content of 44 Germplasm Accessions of Akebia trifoliata(Thunb.)Koidz.
This study explored the correlations of fruit traits with oil content and fresh-eating rate of Akebia trifoliata(Thunb.)Koidz.,with a view to providing a reference for the breeding of this plant. The oil content,fresh-eating rate, and seven fruit traits were determined for 44 germplasm accessions of A.trifoliata(Thunb.)Koidz.,and the correlations of fruit traits with oil content and fresh-eating rate were analyzed. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of each fruit trait ranged from 10.74%to 50.48%.The oil content was 40.40%on average, and the accession M002-1 had the highest oil content(53.88%).The accession GuiDa 3-2 had the highest fresh-eating rate(39.50%).The 100-seed weight showcased the greatest influence on oil content, and the transverse diameter of the fruit demonstrated the greatest influence on fresh-eating rate.
