Effects of Different Potassium Application Rates on the Yield and Fertilizer Utilization Rate of Rice
The effects of different potassium application rates on the yield and fertilizer utilization rate of the rice cultivar'Jiyou 6553'were studied. The results showed that in the case of equal application of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers, the grain yield and straw yield of rice increased gradually with the increase in the potassium application rate, while the increasing rate declined. The economic benefits in the cases of potassium application at 85%and 115%were similar. Therefore, the application of potassium fertilizer(K2O)was recommended at 71.4-96.6 kg/hm2 for achieving the highest yield and economic benefit in rice production.
