Effect of Delayed Sowing on Yield and Related Factors of New Varieties of Oilseed Rape with Different Ripening Dates
In order to explore the effect of delayed sowing on the yield and related factors of oilseed rape with different ripening dates in eastern Hunan Province, the early maturity type of Fengyou 112,mid-early maturity type of Jieyou 8848,and mid-maturity type of Fengyou 789 oilseed rape varieties, which were promoted in Hunan Province, were selected for production testing of three sowing dates in Beisheng Town,Liuyang City. The results show that the varieties sown at three different dates can mature from late April to early May.The growth periods of the varieties M1 and M2 are the same, while the ripening date of M3 is delayed by 5-7 d.The growth period and accumulated temperature of Jieyou 8848 sown at three different dates are the same as those of Fengyou 789.With the delay of the sowing date, the plant height, the number of effective branches, and the number of effective siliques of each variety decrease. The average yield of M1 sown at three different dates is below expectation, and that of M2 is the highest, while the average yield of M3 is the lowest.Among the three varieties with different ripening dates,Fengyou 789 is significantly affected by delayed sowing, and its yield decreases significantly with the delay of the sowing date.Jieyou 8848 does not have a significant sensitivity to delayed sowing, and M2 of Fengyou 112 has the highest yield, which is significantly higher than M1 and M3.
