Flufenacet Combined with Isoproturon:Control Effects on Weeds and Influence on Winter Wheat Yield
A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the control effects of flufenacet combined with isoproturon on annual weeds(Descurainia sophia and Bromus japonicus)in the field planted with the winter wheat cultivar'Malan 1'and the influence on the winter wheat yield. The control effects regarding plant number and fresh weight of annual weeds and the winter wheat yield were measured. The results showed that flufenacet·isoproturon 35%suspension concentrate demonstrated good control effects on annual weeds from the 1-leaf and 1-bud stage to the 2-leaf and 1-bud stage of winter wheat and at the 2 to 5-leaf stage of annual weeds.Spraying flufenacet·isoproturon 35%suspension concentrate on stems and leaves demonstrated the control effect of 83.47%-88.53%regarding plant number and 84.92%-90.81%regarding fresh weight at the last time of application. Moreover, the compound herbicide was safe for winter wheat. The compound herbicide treatment showed no significant difference in the winter wheat yield compared with artificial weeding and higher winter wheat yield than the blank control. The recommended dose of flufenacet·isoproturon 35%suspension concentrate was 420-840 g.a.i./hm2 in winter wheat fields.
