Study on the Deviation Between Rice Farmers'Willingness and Behavior to Participate in Rice Production Trusteeship
Based on the survey data of rice farmers in Jianghan Plain of Hubei Province,the study analyzed influencing factors of the deviation between rice farmers'willingness and behavior to participate in rice production trusteeship by using the binary Logit model,and explored the hierarchical structure of influencing factors with the help of the explanatory structure model,so as to promote more farmers to adopt agricultural production trusteeship services.In terms of influencing factors of the deviation between rice farmers'willingness and behavior to participate in rice production trusteeship,the perceived cost level of rice farmers,the number of family farmers,and the number of paddy fields had significant positive impacts on the occurrence of deviation,while the perceived economic benefits of rice farmers,the scale of rice planting,the quality of trusteeship services,the ease degree of access to service information,and the satisfaction with subsidy policies had significant negative impacts on the occurrence of deviation.In terms of the hierarchical structure of influencing factors,the number of paddy fields,the scale of rice planting and the number of family farmers were root factors,the satisfaction with subsidy policies,the quality of trusteeship services and the ease degree of access to service information were indirect factors,and the perceived cost level and perceived economic benefits were direct factors.Hence,the study put forward some suggestions:strengthening the perceived economic benefits of rice farmers to production trusteeship services,and reducing the perceived cost level;applying different subsidy standards for different link trusteeship services,so as to promote rice farmers to purchase weak or critical link trusteeship services;establishing the agricultural production trusteeship service information platform,and formulating service level standards and requirements,so as to create a good trusteeship service environment.
