Spatial Distribution and Driving Mechanism of Non-Grain Conversion of Cultivated Land in Karst Mountainous Area:A Case Study of Pingtang County
With the land use data of Pingtang County in 2012 and 2022,this study explored the spatial distribution of non-grain conversion of cultivated land and the driving effects of five factors(slope, quality, distance to road, distance to residential area, and distance to water source)of cultivated land on the non-grain conversion. The results were obtained as follows.(1)The cultivated land in Pingtang County,2022 showed an area of 30 946.67 hm2 and a non-grain conversion area of 20 046.68 hm2,with a non-grain conversion rate of 39.31%.The non-grain conversion rate within 5 km of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope(FAST)was 63.70%,which was much higher than the average non-grain conversion rate of cultivated land in the county.(2)The areas of grain-producing cultivated land converted into forest land and garden land were 17 080.00 hm2 and 2 826.66 hm2,respectively,both of which accounted for 99.30%of the non-grain conversion area.(3)With the increases in cultivated land slope and distance to road, water source, and residential area and the decrease of cultivated land quality, the non-grain conversion rate of cultivated land rose significantly. The influence weights of the slope, quality, distance to residential area, distance to road, and distance to water source of cultivated land on non-grain conversion were 0.34,0.26,0.17,0.13,and 0.10,respectively.The natural factors with the total influence weight of 0.60 were the main driving factors for the non-grain conversion of cultivated land.
