Research on the Development Status and Countermeasures of Huaihua Fruit Industry
Based on the relevant data obtained from field research,this study analyzes the development status of the fruit industry in Huaihua City from 2020 to 2022,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for the existing problems to further promote the development of the fruit industry in Huaihua City.The results show that the fruit planting in Huaihua City is mainly concentrated in Mayang County,Hongjiang City and Xupu County from 2020 to 2022,and their fruit planting area accounts for 56.45%of the total fruit planting area of Huaihua City.The planting area of citrus fruits accounts for the largest proportion of the total fruit planting area in the city,and the planting area of Bingtang orange accounts for the largest proportion of the total planting area of citrus fruits,followed by navel orange,honey tangerine,hybrid citrus,pomelo and ponkan.Among the hybrid citrus,"Golden Gong Pomelo"has formed a strong brand influence.Some counties,cities and districts have main seasonal fruits with their own characteristics,such as jujube of Xupu County,watermelon or sweet melon and yellow peach of Mayang County,Yangmei of Jingzhou County,spine grape of Zhongfang County,and both the unit price and the output value per unit area of seasonal fruits are higher than that of citrus fruits.Hence,in terms of developing the industry of citrus fruits,Huaihua City can promote the improvement of Bingtang orange varieties by the efficient use of high-quality Bingtang orange bud sport resources,and promote the improvement of hybrid citrus varieties by further introducing and developing high-quality early-middle maturity hybrid citrus varieties.In order to improve the competitiveness of seasonal fruits,counties,cities and districts can further build seasonal fruit brands with local characteristics.
