Variation Trends and Spatial Distribution of Straw Resources in Hunan Province
This study aims to reveal the amount and spatial distribution pattern of straw resources in Hunan Province,fully recognize the development potential of straw resources,and provide data support and decision-making reference for the comprehensive utilization of straw resources in Hunan.The straw-to-grain ratio was adopted to analyze the variation trends and spatial distribution pattern of straw resources in Hunan.The results showed that the straw resources in Hunan from 1999 to 2021 roughly varied in three stages of slightly declining,steadily increasing,and stabilizing,with an overall upward trend.Rice,maize,oil crops,vegetables,melons,and tuber crops were the main sources of straw resources in Hunan.In terms of resource abundance,Hunan's spatial distribution of straw resources were in a pattern characterized by being rich in the northeast and southwest,moderate in the southeast,and short in the northwest.In terms of resource density,the straw resources were concentrated in central Hunan and scattered in the north and south of Hunan.
