The investigation and analysis was carried out on the bird species resources of Xuefeng Lake National Wetland Park by line intercept method. The result showed that the birds resource in this area have 1 15 bird species which belong to 13 orders,36 families were recorded. 68 species of them are resident birds,25 species are summer migratory birds,20 species are winter migratory birds and 2 are travelers. The bird diversity and community characteristics fluctuate with the seasons and habitats change. The number of individuals reached the peak for the influence of the migrant in spring,and fall to the minimum in summer.
