Study on the suitability and cultivation techniques of Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'in purple soil
In order to improve the ecological environment and rationally develop and utilize purple soil, the suitable cultivation experiment of Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'was carried out with different purple soil site types, and the effects of different base fertilizers and different water retention measures on the growth and yield of Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'on purple soil were studied. The results showed that the growth of Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'was the best on the purple sandy soil with thick soil layer, and it was better on the purple shale soil with thick soil layer. When soil layer thickness was less than 50 cm,it was not suitable for planting.Purple sandy soil with soil thickness>80 cm,supplemented by"ammonia sulfate+organic fertilizer"as base fertilizer and drip irrigation water retention technology, the average tree height, average ground diameter, average crown width and fresh fruit yield of 3-year-old Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'was 2.4 m,4.2 cm,4.0 m and 9 879 kg per hectare, respectively, which were more than 30%higher than those of the control.Overall,Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'had strong adaptability to purple soil, and could grow well in purple soil with base fertilizer application and water conservation measures. It could achieve better economic, social and ecological benefits, and had certain promotion and application prospects in purple soil areas. This study provided a reference for the ecological restoration of purple soil and the promotion of Amygdalus persica'Jingxiang'planting in Hunan Province.
