Correlation between yield, quality and agronomic traits of Amorphophallus konjac
To explore the potential relationship between yield, quality and agronomic traits of Amorphophallus konjac,so as to predict its yield and glucomannan content through morphological traits in production,14 agronomic traits, two yield traits and one quality traits were measured.Correlation analysis, principal component analysis, and multiple stepwise regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between corm biomass, glucomannan content and agronomic traits. The results showed that:(1)There were significant differences in 17 traits such as common petiole length, common petiole diameter, compound leaf diameter, corn fresh weight, corn dry weight, and glucomannan content at the individual level, and the coefficient of variation ranged from 19.70%to 90.50%.(2)The common petiole length and common petiole diameter had significant or extremely significant correlation with corn fresh weight and corn dry weight, which indicated that the longer and thicker the common petiole, the higher the yield. However, the change in glucomannan content showed some randomness or no significant correlation with these two traits. The yield of A.konjac could be predicted to a certain extent based on the length and diameter of common petiole.
