Effect of intercepting ditch treatment on pulping characteristics and oleoresin monoterpene components of tapped Pinus elliottii
Taking 16-year-old Pinus elliottiias as materials, the effects of intercepting ditch on pulping characteristics and oleoresin monoterpene components of tapped P.elliottii with three different treatments were conducted. The results showed that besides the wood basic density, there were no significant differences in tracheid length, tracheid width, ratio of tracheid length to width, holocellulose content, cellulose content, lignin content and the content of oleoresin monoterpene components among different treatments. With the increase of intercepting ditch depth, wood basic density, tracheid length, tracheid width, ratio of tracheid length to width, holocellulose content and cellulose content increased gradually, while lignin content decreased gradually. The composition of oleoresin monoterpene components was exactly the same as the control, while the change trend was different.
