Ultrasonic assisted solvent extraction of camphor from Cinnamomum camphora and the insect repellent effect determination
In order to extract natural camphor from Cinnamomum camphora and make use of it more efficiently, the effects of ultrasound time, solvent concentration and solid-liquid ratio on the extraction rate of camphor from C.camphora were studied and the insect repellent effect was measured in this article. The results showed as follows:(1)The extraction amount of camphor with ultrasound assisted solvent was significantly larger than that of the control, and the effect was best with ultrasound assisted extraction for 60 minutes.(2)The concentration of solvent ethanol had a significant impact on the extraction amount of camphor and the appropriate ethanol concentration was 60%.(3)The extraction amount of camphor decreased with the increase of the solid-liquid ratio, and the appropriate solid-liquid ratio was 1∶15.(4)Natural camphor has a good insect repellent effect, with a maximum deworming rate of 96.30%.The deworming rate of camphor increased first and then decreased with time. This study can provide reference for the extraction of plant terpenoids and the pest control based on anthelmintic.
