2 398 CNKI articles titled"green development"were visually analyzed through CiteSpace software in this article.The current development status of this field was summarized in order to clarify the research status,explore research hot spots and find out research shortcomings so as to provide certain references for subsequent research.The research showed that a total of 2 398 literatures related to green development were published in CNKI from 1995 to 2024.We found that the research heat of green development had continued to increase since it was proposed,but no close core group of authors had been established,and the research organizations were mainly concentrated in economic research institutes and universities lack of cross-regional cooperation and exchanges.The research hot spots focused on green development,environmental governance and ecological concept.Therefore,it is necessary to furtherly strengthen academic cooperation,establish a global research vision,plan the layout of the entire green development,and continue to strive for the realization of the second centenary goal for continuing to expand and deepen the research on green development.
