Effects of phosphorus levels on seedling growth of Choerospondias axillaris
In this study,to explore the optimum phosphorus level for the growth of Choerospondias axillaris seedlings, the growth, phosphorus accumulation, total phosphorus utilization efficiency and photosynthetic parameters of C.axillaris seedlings were analyzed under four soil phosphorus levels of 0.2,8.0,16.0 and 32.0 mg·kg-1.The results showed that when the phosphorus supply level was 16.0 mg·kg-1,the ground diameter, root dry weight, aboveground dry weight and total dry weight of the seedlings were 12.00 mm,17.63 g,20.79 g and 38.42 g,respectively, which were significantly higher than those of the other three phosphorus supply levels. The phosphorus accumulation of aboveground part, root and total phosphorus accumulation per plant were the highest at the phosphorus supply level of 16.0 mg·kg-1,which were 15.56,19.27 and 34.03 mg,respectively, which were significantly higher than those at the two phosphorus supply levels of 0.2 and 8.0 mg·kg-1.When the phosphorus supply level was 16.0 mg·kg-1,the net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance and transpiration rate were 9.48 µmol·m-2·s-1,0.10 mol·m-2·s-1 and 3.11 mmol·m-2·s-1 respectively, which were significantly higher than the other three phosphorus supply levels. With the increase of phosphorus supply, the total utilization efficiency of phosphorus decreased significantly, and there were significant differences among the four different phosphorus supply levels. The treatment with phosphorus supply level of 16.0 mg·kg-1 significantly promoted the growth and phosphorus accumulation of C.axillaris, which was the appropriate phosphorus supply level for C.axillaris seedlings.
