Difference analysis of soil enzyme activity in four typical stands in Hunan Province
In order to investigate the effects of different stands on soil enzyme activities, four typical stands in Hunan were taken as research objects, and the stand growth and activities of soil phosphatase, sucrase, catalase and urease were studied. The results showed that there was no significant difference in tree height and DBH of Schima superba among the four stands, but the height and DBH in stand A and stand D were higher than those in the other two stands. In the same stand, with the increase of soil depth, the activities of phosphatase, sucrase and catalase decreased gradually, and the activity of urease decreased slightly or did not change. There were significant differences in activities of four enzymes among different stand. The activities of phosphatase and sucrase were the highest in stand D,followed by stand C,stand B,and stand A.The highest catalase activity and urease activity were all in stand D,and the lowest were all in stand B.In the same stand, there were significant differences in phosphatase activity and sucrase activity in different soil layers. The catalase activity of stand C and stand D was significantly different between different soil layers.Except for stand A,there were significant differences in urease activity in different soil layers of the other three stands. This study provides a certain basis for forest construction in Hunan Province in the future.
