Constructive postmodernism is a Western environmental theory based on process philosophy,and its unique ecological view is highly praised by some foreign Marxists.Although the development of constructive postmodern ecological civilization is a slow and bumpy historical process,it does not hinder its important position in ecological civilization research.Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted in-depth research on constructive postmodern ecological civilizationfrom different perspectives,and have put forward many insights and viewpoints.Its research by foreign scholarsmainly focuses on the ideas of representative figures,the division between modernism and postmodernism,conceptual connotations,theoretical sources,community thinking,and China's modernization development.Its research by Chinese scholars mainly focuses on text translation,basic content interpretation,educational development,and China's ecological civilization.In the face of an unprecedented ecological crisis,the constructive postmodern ecological civilization view can be regarded as a"trendsetter"in ecological environment theory,and its"green"concept is worthy of recognition and learning.However,there are still shortcomings in its research,such as the disconnection between theory and practice,one-sided research fields,few critical articles on dialectical materialism,andfew in-depth researches.
