The Status,Challenges and Strategies of Female Population Development in Developed AreasBased on Data of the 7th National Population Census:A Case Study of a City in Zhejiang Province
In the process of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the study on the development of female population from the gender perspectiveis an important aspect of promoting the long-term balanced development of China's population,and an imperative toattach importance to the common development of different groups of people and improvethe quality of population as a whole.Based on the data of the 7thnational population census in a city of Zhejiang province,this paper focuses on the descriptive statistics and analysis of the developmentscale and quality of female population,age structure,education,marriage,fertility,employment and old age pension.On this basis,it analyzes the difficulties and challenges faced by modern women in balancing their triple roles of population reproduction,family care and social production.In order to promote high-quality development of the female population,it is necessary to establish an active maternity support policy system andincrease public investment in education so as to unleash gender dividends.
