A Study on Strategies to Improve Learning Effectiveness of Online Courses in Post-secondary Vocational Schools:The Perspective of Self-regulated Learning Theory
Improving the learning effectiveness of courses is an important goal in constructing online courses in higher education institutions.Centering on learning effectiveness of online courses for post-secondary vocational students,this study constructs a learning effectiveness model about learning environment,teachers'teaching and learning strategies based on self-regulated learning theory,and conducts an empirical analysis.The results show that the learning environment has a significant positive effect on learning strategies,but not on learning effectiveness;teacher teaching has a significant positive effect on learning strategies and learning effectiveness;learning strategies have a significant positive effect on learning effectiveness and the effect is the highest,and learning strategies playa mediating role between teacher teaching and learning effectiveness.Therefore,it is advised to improve the learning effectiveness of online courses for post-secondary vocational students by cultivating students'autonomous learning ability through the adjustment of learning strategies,and giving full play to teachers'assisting role in students'self-regulated learning through the improvement of teaching norms.
