The Chinese Buddhist scriptures are important materials for the study about the history of the Chinese language.Scholars have made brilliant achievements in the interpretation of difficult words.However,there is still room for interpreting the meanings of some words,and some words have not been interpreted yet.By using methods such as reviewing and distinguishing character forms,comparing different texts,and associating relevant words and phrases from other Chinese Buddhist scriptures,we have selected 12 examples for identification,putting forward different opinions on previous studies,exploring new words and meanings,or providing reference for large-scale dictionary compilation.
