Ye Xie was an important literati in the early Qing Dynasty from the Wuzhong region.His poems showed a distinctly regional character,and in his revision of local chronicles and related work,he showed a recognition and emphasis on the concept of Wudi.From the perspective of his most famous poetic theory,he was also greatly influenced by the poetic tradition of Wuzhong.The study of the relationship between Ye Xie and Wuzhong regional culture will help to understand Ye Xie more comprehensively and provide a case study for examining the relationship between literati and regional culture.
