Preposition, as indispensable part in English, is vital to English-to-Chinese translation due to its flexibility and polyse-my. This research analyses translation skills or strategies of prepositions in Pride and Prejudice from the perspective of Skopostheo-rie. Finally conclusion are drawn that translator should know about preposition feature and consider both the source text and target readers requirements for the better translation.
