Coal chemical sludge properties and thermal drying characteristics
Coal chemical sludge is a pollutant produced by biochemical treatment of coal chemical wastewater, containing phenol, aromatic hydrocarbon and other toxic and harmful substances.Coal chemical sludge co-combustion for power generation is an effective sludge disposal, before which sludge needs to be dried. The properties of coal chemical sludge were analyzed and the effects of temperature,CaO addition ratio and rotational speed on the thermal drying characteristics of coal chemical sludge were studied. After the thermal drying of coal chemical sludge, macromolecular organic compounds decomposes, the residual state of heavy metals increases, and thus the environmental risk reduces. When the temperature increases from 110℃to 200 ℃,the drying rate is enhanced by 190%.When the rotational speed increases from 0 to 10 r/min,the drying rate is improved by 20%.When CaO addition ratio is less than 2%,it is not conducive to sludge drying process. When CaO addition ratio is above 2%,the drying rate rises which is not higher than that of 26.7%.The 3D-EEM spectrum was used to analyze the DOM(dissolved organic matter)in the coal chemical sludge. It is found that the proportion of microbial metabolites decreases, which is beneficial to sludge drying.
