Study on synthesis and mechanism of a novel barium sulfate scale inhibitor
In order to improve the anti-scaling efficiency of barium sulfate scale and clarify the mechanism of action of the anti-scaling agent,a new type of barium sulfate scale inhibitor HFGJ-26 was synthesized using maleic anhydride, acrylic acid, and new ester monomers as the main raw materials. The effects of anti-scaling agent concentration, scaling ion concentration, and experimental temperature on the anti-scaling effect were investigated, and on this basis, the mechanism of action of the anti-scaling agent was studied. The results show that the new barium sulfate scale inhibitor HFGJ-26 has a good anti scaling effect on barium sulfate in solution. When the concentrations of Ba2+ and SO42-in the aqueous solution are both 300mg·L-1,adding 100mg·L-1 of HFGJ-26 can achieve a higher anti-scaling rate.At an experimental temperature of 60℃,the anti-scaling rate can reach 97.8%,while when the temperature rises to 100℃,the anti-scaling rate can still reach 92.6%,indicating a good anti-scaling effect.
