Preparation of Fe/γ-Al2O3 and its application in adsorption treatment of fluoride containing wastewater
In this paper,γ-Al2O3 was used as the main adsorbent,and FeSO4·7H2O solution combined with ultrasonic technology was used to modify of γ-Al2O3 to obtain carrier activated alumina(Fe/γ-Al2O3).Firstly,we studied the effect of amount of FeSO4·7H2O added during the preparation process of Fe/γ-Al2O3,the pH value of FeSO4·7H2O solution,and γ-Al2O3 dosage on the fluoride removal efficiency of Fe/γ-Al2O3;Finally,through static adsorption treatment,the dosage and adsorption time of adsorbent Fe/γ-Al2O3,as well as the pH value of fluoride containing wastewater on the removal efficiency of fluoride ions were studied.The results indicated that when the dosage of FeSO4·7H2O was 0.1mol·L-1,the pH was 3~5,the mass ratio of Fe/γ-Al2O3 to FeSO4·7H2O solution was 5∶1,the Fe/γ-Al2O3 had the best fluoride removal effect;When the Fe/γ-Al2O3 dosage was 40g·L-1,the adsorption time was 15h,and the pH value of the fluoride containing waste liquid was 3~9,the fluoride removal effect was best,and the removal rate of fluoride ions was much higher than that under the same conditions of γ-Al2O3 adsorbent.
