Determination of thallium and beryllium residues in soil by graphite furnace ASA
A method for the determination of thallium and beryllium residues in soil by microwave digestion and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry has been developed. The calibration curves of thallium and beryllium were linear in the concentration range of 2.00~40.0μg·L-1 with the recoveries of 90.0%~103.0%,and the relative standard deviations of 1.49%and 2.01%(n=6),respectively.The minimum detection limits of thallium and beryllium in soil were 0.003μg·g-1 and 0.005μg·g-1,respectively,when the sampling volume was 0.2g and the constant volume was 25mL.The method is simple, sensitive, precise and accurate, and suitable for the determination of thallium, beryllium and other metal elements in different types of soil.
