Study on the mechanics and seawater corrosion resistance of cement-reinforced silty soil
In order to analyze the influence law of cement content and seawater corrosion on mechanical properties of cement-reinforced silty soil, samples of cement-reinforced silty soil with cement content 4%,8%,12%,16%and 20%soil were prepared. After 0,2,5,8,12 and 18 times of seawater corrosion dry-wet cycles, respectively, the uniaxial compressive strength, cohesion and internal friction angle of the specimens were tested. The effects of cement content and seawater corrosion on the mechanical properties of cement-reinforced silty soil were analyzed. The results show that:(1)With the increase of cement content, the uniaxial compressive strength and cohesion of cement-reinforced silty soil increase linearly, while the angle of internal friction decreases exponentially;(2)The compressive strength, cohesion and internal friction angle of cement-reinforced silty soil show a decreasing trend with the increase of the number of dry-wet cycles of seawater;(3)The increase of cement content can effectively improve the seawater corrosion resistance of the coment-reinforced silty soil.
