Optimization of purification of α-linolenic acid from flaxseed oil by urea inclusion method
In this paper, using flaxseed oil as the raw material oil,α-linolenic acid as the target product for extraction, the effects of different volume ratios of fatty acids to urea solution, concentration of urea ethanol solution, inclusion temperature, and inclusion time on α-linolenic acid extraction rate were investigated by using the single factor method to optimization the α-linolenic acid extraction process. The experimental results show that when the volume ratio of fatty acids to urea solution is 1∶45,the concentration of urea ethanol solution is 1 mol·L-1,the inclusion temperature is-15℃,and the inclusion time is 24 hour, the extraction rate of α-linolenic acid can reach 81%.Finally,the purified α-linolenic acid was characterized by liquid chromatography, and α-linolenic acid peaks at 12.5 minutes, which was consistent with the peak position of α-linolenic acid.
