Study and performance evaluation of high density packer fluid system for oil and gas wells
In this paper,phosphate,high-temperature corrosion inhibitor HSJ-T,high-temperature corrosion inhibitor HSJ-G combined with oxygen deoxidizer HCY-6 were used to study the high-temperature and high-density sealing fluid system suitable for offshore N oilfield, and the performance of the system was evaluated. The evaluation results showed that the density of the packer liquid system can reach 1.60g·cm-3,and the temperature resistance capacity can reach 150℃.The high temperature corrosion of the system was evaluated by using the weight loss method. The corrosion rate of 3Cr-L80 and 13Cr-L80 steel at 150℃ is less than the industry standard of 0.076mm·a-1,showing excellent anti-corrosion performance. The settlement factor method SF was used to evaluate the temperature stability of the packer fluid. When the system was settled at 150℃ for 30 days, the difference between the upper and lower densities is zero, showing good high-temperature settlement stability. The service life of casing and tubing in offshore N Oilfield was predicted by corrosion rate. The predicted results show that the service life of casing with 3Cr-L80 material is 14~19 years, and that of tubing with 13Cr-L80 material is 9~12 years.Acording to the results of system and comprehensive performance evaluation, the studied packer fluid system can meet the production requirements of offshore N Oilfield and similar fields.
