Study on the performance of ZSM-5/USY/Beta molecular sieve catalyst for tetralin hydrocracking to BTEX
NiMo/ZSM-5,NiMo/USY and NiMo/Beta catalysts, labeled cat-1,cat-2 and cat-3,were prepared by equal volume impregnation using ZSM-5,USY and Beta molecular sieves. The catalyst was characterized and analyzed by XRD,NH3-TPD and SEM.Tetralin was used as a model compound in a fixed bed reactor to study its catalytic performance for hydrocracking to prepare BTEX.The process conditions of tetralin hydrocracking were investigated, and the hydrocracking mechanism was discussed. The results showed that the metal component particles of catalyst cat-3 prepared by molecular sieve Beta were uniform in size, highly dispersed, and moderately acidic.Under the optimal reaction conditions of 400℃,600 hydrogen oil ratio,4 MPa reaction pressure and 2h-1 space velocity, compared with cat-1 and cat-2,cat-3 has the best tetralin conversion and BTEX selectivity,up to 95%and 70%respectively.
