Research progress on the modification methods of vegetable oil-based lubricants
This article provides a comprehensive review of modification methods for preparing lubricant base oil from vegetable oil,especially chemical modification methods such as selective hydrogenation,epoxidation,and ester exchange.The advantages and shortcomings of various modification methods are elucidated,and the future development trends of these modification methods are prospected aiming at providing some reference for the research on the modification of vegetable oil lubricants.
