Corrosion behavior of 304 stainless steel in CO2 flooding simulated production liquid at high temperature
With the widespread use of CO2 flooding technology, the increasing CO2 content in the produced liquid makes the corrosion degree of metal pipes in the production system increase. In order to study the corrosion behavior of 304 stainless steel in the simulated CO2 flooding produced liquid under high temperature environment.the corrosion rate of 304 stainless steel was tested under different CO2 content and different corrosion time in the simulated production liquid. The micro-morphology of the metal surface and the composition of corrosion products were tested under different corrosion time. The results showed that the corrosion rate of metal increased with the increasing of CO2 content and corrosion time. With the increase of corrosion time, the corrosion products on the metal surface gradually increased, and the local hydrogen evolution corrosion process occurred. The corrosion product film is mainly composed of Fe2O3,Cr2O3 and FeCO3.
