Determination of antimony and bismuth in soil by graphite digestion/GFAAS
A method for the determination of antimony and bismuth residues in soil by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry was established. The soil samples were digested by an automatic graphite digester, and the experimental conditions such as matrix improver and atomization temperature were optimized.Antimony and bismuth had good linearity in the concentration range of 0.00~40.0μg·L-1,and the detection limits were 0.006μg·g-1 and 0.004μg·g-1,respectively.The actual recoveries were 91.7%and 98.3%,respectively.The method is simple to operate, the accuracy, precision and recovery of the test results meet the quality control requirements, and is suitable for the determination of antimony and bismuth in large quantities of soil.
