Study on preparation and performance of new corrosion inhibitors for natural gas pipeline
In order to effectively reduce the corrosion rate of natural gas transmission pipelines and improve their operational efficiency,a new corrosion inhibitor XHT-1 for natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines was prepared using vegetable oleic acid, polyethylene polyamines, and urea as raw materials through a two-step method. The synthesis process of intermediate product X and final product XHT-1 was optimized using synthetic product yield as the evaluation index, and the corrosion protection effect of the new corrosion inhibitor XHT-1 was evaluated using corrosion inhibition rate as the evaluation index. The results showed that the yield of intermediate product X was the highest(90.6%)when the monomer molar ratio of vegetable oleic acid and polyethylene polyamines was 1∶1.2,the reaction temperature was 130℃,and the reaction time was 3 hours; When the molar ratio of intermediate product X to urea monomer was 1:0.8,the reaction temperature was 140℃,and the reaction time was 4 hours, the yield of the new corrosion inhibitor XHT-1 was the highest(98.2%).The higher the concentration of the new corrosion inhibitor XHT-1,the higher the corrosion inhibition rate. When the concentration of XHT-1 was 300mg·L-1,the corrosion inhibition rate could reach 95.8%,indicating a good corrosion inhibition effect. The research results suggest that the new corrosion inhibitor XHT-1 can be used for corrosion protection of target natural gas transmission pipelines.
