Optimization of Astaxanthin extraction with organic solvent by response surface method
In order to determine the best condition of extracting Astaxanthin with organic solvent,this study selected Haematococcus pluvialis after breaking the wall,and extracted with organic solvent,the experimental conditions were optimized by single factor and response surface methodology(RSM)with material ratio,saponification solution concentration,saponification time and Astaxanthin extraction time as indexes.The results showed that the optimum technological parameters were:solvent was ethyl acetate-ethanol(1∶1),material-liquid ratio was 1∶288(g∶mL),saponification solution concentration was 0.05mol·L-1,saponification time was 12h,and the average extraction rate of Astaxanthin was 3.32%.It is feasible to optimize the extraction process of astaxanthin with organic solvent by response surface methodology,and the extracted Astaxanthin has higher purity and less impurities,which can be used for Astaxanthin extraction.
