Preparation of new adhesives for geotechnical engineering and evaluation of cemented soil properties
A new type of modified curing agent G-650 was prepared using polyamide curing agent 650 and thiourea as raw materials. The preparation process conditions were optimized indoors, and it was combined with epoxy resin E-51,active diluent XS-1,and silane coupling agent KH550 to prepare a new adhesive JZR-2.The impact of JZR-2 on the properties of cemented soil was investigated using compressive strength, flexural strength, and relative permeability coefficient as evaluation indicators. The experimental results show that the optimal preparation process conditions for the new modified curing agent G-650 are:the amount of thiourea is 6%,the reaction temperature is 100℃,and the reaction time is 60 minutes. The larger the dosage of the new adhesive JZR-2 in the rock and soil samples, the greater the compressive and flexural strength of the bonded soil specimens, and the smaller the relative permeability coefficient. It is recommended that the optimal dosage of the new adhesive JZR-2 is 6%.At this time, the compressive strength of the bonded soil specimens can reach 10.36 MPa,the flexural strength can reach 3.85 MPa,and the relative permeability coefficient can reach 0.68 ×10-7cm·s-1.The research results suggest that the developed new adhesive JZR-2 can achieve good bonding and solidification effects on geotechnical samples, significantly improve its strength and impermeability, and meet the requirements of geotechnical engineering construction.
