Preparation of porous polyaniline and application in wastewater treatment
In this paper,super-crosslinked hollow polyaniline(SHPANI)was prepared by modifying hollow polyaniline(HPANI)using polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS).The specific surface area of HPANI as well as SHPANI was analyzed by isothermal adsorption to clarify the role of POSS in the modification process of polyaniline.The addition of POSS was found to enable polyaniline to exhibit greater specific surface area and stronger adsorption capacity.The different adsorption capacities of SHPANI on malachite green(MG)and rhodamine B(RhB)were also investigated and their adsorption rates were analyzed,and it was found that SHPANI could adsorb dye molecules in large quantities in 2h.The adsorption rate of SHPANI on malachite green(MG)and rhodamine B(RhB)was also analyzed.The kinetic analysis of the adsorption process proved that the dye molecules were adsorbed by the co-adsorption of two active sites on the surface of SHPANI.
