Preparation of sulfur-phosphorus-free molybdenum-containing extreme pressure lubricants and evaluation of its applicability
In this paper,two sulfur-phosphorus-free environmentally friendly non-reactive molybdenum-containing extreme pressure lubricants which can meet both biological toxicity and biodegradability,have been developed to achieve multiple effects of good extreme pressure lubrication and good anti-wear effect.The performance of SLIP-M was evaluated in several commonly used water-based drilling fluid systems,and it was found that SLIP-M showed good compatibility,good lubricating ability and outstanding anti-wear ability in PLUS-KCl system,EZFLO system and silicate system,with the characteristics of multi-system applicability,and SLIP-M effectively solved the problems of pressure-holding and start-up and down-drilling obstruction in the field application.
