Research on the treatment effect of electroless nickel plating wastewater with a heavy metal chelating agent
The heavy metal chelating agent PDTC was synthesized by using N1,N1'-(ethane-1,2-diyl)bis(N2-(2-aMinoethyl)ethane-1,2-diaMine)and carbon disulfide as the main raw materials, and applied to the treatment of electroless nickel plating wastewater. The influences of the PDTC dosage, stirring reaction time,pH of the wastewater and the dosage of polymerized alumina chloride on the effect of the treatment of Ni2+and Zn2+wastewater were investigated, and a comparative study was carried out with the commercially available heavy metal chelating agent TMT-15.The experimental results showed that, when the dosage of PDTC was 240mg·L-1,pH value was 8.0,reaction time was 80s,and dosage of polymerized aluminum chloride was 120mg·L-1,the residual Ni2+and Zn2+concentrations in the wastewater were 0.09mg·L-1 and 0.76mg·L-1,respectively,which met the emission limits of electroplating water pollutants of the local standard of Guangdong Province(DB44/T 1597-2015),and under the same experimental conditions, compared with TMT-15,PDTC has a better removal effect on Ni2+and Zn2+.
