Research progress on extraction methods of chemical constituents and polysaccharides from rehmanniae radix
Rehmanniae radix is a traditional tonic Chinese Medicine that is the fresh or dried tuberous root of Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch.Modern studies have shown that rehmanniae radix is rich in various active ingredients,such as iridoid,polysaccharides,phenylethanoid glycosides,ionones,phenolic acids,and lignans,which have a wide range of pharmacological activities.Among them,polysaccharides are one of the main effective components of rehmanniae radix,which has high medicinal and economic value.In this paper,the research progress of chemical components of rehmanniae radix in recent years was reviewed,and the extraction technology of polysaccharide components was summarized,in order to provide theoretical basis for the separation of components and the optimization of extraction technology of polysaccharides from rehmanniae radix.
