Preparation and performance evaluation of new modified waterborne anticorrosive coatings
In order to further improve the comprehensive performance of waterborne epoxy resin anti-corrosion coatings,a new modified waterborne anti-corrosion coating ECM-1 was prepared using polyethylene glycol PEG1000,epoxy resin E20,organic polyamine X,and epoxy resin E51 as the main raw materials by a two-step method. The preparation process conditions were optimized, and its comprehensive performance was evaluated. When the molar ratio of polyethylene glycol PEG1000 to epoxy resin E20 is 1∶1,the amount of catalyst is 0.5wt%,the EC-1 polymerization reaction time is 5h,and the EC-1 polymerization reaction temperature is 70℃,the comprehensive performance of the prepared modified epoxy curing agent EC-1 and the new modified waterborne anti-corrosion coating ECM-1 reaches the best. The impact strength, pencil strength, flexibility, adhesion, water resistance, and acid and alkali resistance of the new modified waterborne anti-corrosion coating ECM-1 can all meet the requirements of the relevant usage standards for anti-corrosion coatings. It is a water-based organic anti-corrosion coating with excellent comprehensive performance.
