Research progress on PPCPs monitoring technology in urban sewage plants
Due to the widespread use of pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)in daily life and potential negative effects on the environment and public health,they have become a hot issue in environmental science research.The sources of PPCPs in municipal sewage were analyzed,and the current extraction,purification and detection procedures of PPCPs were compared.The problems existing in the practical application of different monitoring technologies were summarized,and the future research direction was prospected.This paper provides reference for the establishment of national or industry standards for new pollutants in the environment PPCPs.
