Research progress on the preparation and separation of carbon nanotubes from CO2 reduction by molten salt method
To mitigate the detrimental impact of excessive carbon dioxide emissions,there is an urgent need to advance the exploration of carbon dioxide utilization.Among various conversion technologies,the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide using molten salt has garnered significant attention due to its potential for synthesizing high-value carbon materials.This review provides a concise overview of the mechanism behind carbon dioxide capture and conversion using molten salt.Additionally,it summarizes the recent research progress in carbon nanotube synthesis and associated separation techniques utilizing this technology.Finally,the prospects of this technology are discussed.
