Study on the spontaneous combustion period and symbolic gases of Shenyou No.2 coal
The spontaneous combustion period,symbolic gases of coal spontaneous ignition and warning critical values of Shenyou No.2 coal are investigated in order to provide theoretical basis for monitoring,predicting,and preventing spontaneous combustion fires in the bundle tube of the spherical warehouse for storing coal.The spontaneous combustion process of Shenyou No.2 coal is simulated,and TPD is used to test the types,concentrations,and corresponding relationships with temperature changes of the symbolic gases generated in each temperature range of coal spontaneous combustion.The results show that the spontaneous combustion period of Shenyou No.2 coal is 28 d,and CO can be the main symbolic gas.The rate of increase in CO volume fraction and the volume ratio of C2H4 and C2H6 can be used as auxiliary indicators to judge and warn the period of coal spontaneous ignition.
