Study on liquid accumulation characteristics of natural gas condensate pipeline
OLGA software is used to establish a transient flow model for a condensate pipeline, and the influence of different factors on the characteristics of the liquid accumulation in the low-lying part of the pipeline is analyzed. The results show that large pipeline diameter is more likely to accumulate liquid, especially when the pipeline nominal diameter exceeds DN 200,the amount of liquid in the pipeline is larger. When the upturn angle varies between 5° and 30°,with the increase of the upturn angle, the liquid holdup in the upturn pipeline and the amount of liquid in the pipeline decreases. The pressure has little effect on the liquid holdup in the pipeline, but when the pipeline pressure exceeds 6 MPa,it is not conducive to the removal of liquid accumulation in the low-lying pipeline. With the increase of natural gas transmission flow, the amount of fluid in the pipeline decreases.
